Not having a secure system for updating firmware introduces the risk that an unauthorized third party can upload modifications or even malware.

Unauthorised third-party access during firmware updates becomes a thing of the past with SandGrain secure firmware functionality. Firmware authentication is linked to the unique, immutable token of the electronic board allowing you to know exactly which version is downloaded on each individual board. It also allows more targeted or scheduled firmware downloading, machine-by-machine, instead of uncontrolled and ineffective bulk firmware distributions.
