Eindhoven 10 February 2024 – In a significant move to bolster CyberSecurity for companies with equipment in the Industrial Internet of Things, SandGrain, Ikerlan and Orbik are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).The MoU was signed at SandGrain HQ in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, on 1 February 2024. This MoU marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership that aims to leverage the combined unique strengths and capabilities of our organizations. Our joint efforts will focus on the exploration of business opportunities in the field of industrial cybersecurity.
SandGrain is a company dedicated to revolutionising authentication for (Industrial) IoT devices based on its “electronic bar code” — with a new identification and authentication platform for (I)IoT end-nodes.
Ikerlan is a technology centre dedicated to R&D activities in the field of electronics, information and communication technologies, energy and power electronics, and advanced manufacturing.
Orbik is an industrial cybersecurity services company dedicated to the conformity assessment of cybersecurity of industrial products, services related to the manufacturers, and in general to industrial cybersecurity products.
Key Highlights of the MoU:
– As part of this partnership the organisations will kick off pilot implementations of new solutions in their combined customer base.
– The organisations commit to sharing knowledge, resources, and best practices to foster building and improving cybersecurity solutions for the (I)IoT domain.
– The MoU outlines a framework for ongoing collaboration, with a focus on jointly developing the market and customer-base for combined offerings.
